A blog focusing on my life in Dundalk/Dublin and, from August 2012, my year on Erasmus in Paris. I hope that it will be entertaining and honest, as well as an accurate reflection of my life and experiences.
The name of this blog is inspired by U2’s “City of Blinding Lights”, a song which I feel captures more than most my love and admiration for the city. The song features in The Devil Wears Prada and was one of the first things I thought of the day I got offered a place in Paris. It captures as well as anything can the sheer excitement and wonder the city inspires in me and seemed to be the best way to describe what I hope this blog will eventually become. 🙂
